Hackathon rules

Timeline

  • Hackathon Begins: 20 July 2026, 12:00 AM IST
  • Submission Deadline: 7 August 2026, 11:59 PM IST
  • Semifinals: Conducted online
  • Finale: 22 August 2026 in Bengaluru (venue will be shared with shortlisted teams)

Eligibility

  • Open exclusively to Indian nationals.
  • No minimum age to participate.
  • Teams can have 1 to 3 members.
  • Only new projects created during the hackathon are eligible.
  • Projects must be built using Apple’s native technologies.
  • Apps for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS are all eligible.
  • Projects built primarily using cross-platform frameworks (such as Flutter or React Native) or web technologies are not eligible.

Submission

  • A separate submission form will be shared with all registered participants.
  • All submissions must be received before the deadline to be considered.
  • TestFlight submission is highly recommended. If TestFlight build is not available, you will be required. to submit a video recording of your working project. If required you might have to submit more information.
  • Shortlisted teams must demonstrate a working prototype during the semifinals and finale.

Prizes

  • One Grand Prize worth ₹1,00,000
  • Additional prizes across multiple challenge tracks.
  • Prizes are decided by the organizers, request to exchange prize tiers will not be entertained.
  • Expect rewards including hardware such as monitors, cool electronics and essential builder gadgets, vouchers, and premium account access. More details soon.

AI Usage

  • The use of AI tools is encouraged to accelerate development and enhance your project.

Travel & Accommodation

  • Finalists are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation for the finale in Bengaluru.

Code of Conduct

  • Treat fellow participants, mentors, judges, volunteers, and organizers with respect.
  • Harassment, abuse, discrimination, spam, or any form of misconduct will result in immediate disqualification.

Disqualification

Participants may be disqualified for:

  • Plagiarism or unauthorized use of another team’s work.
  • Fake, incomplete, or fraudulent submissions.
  • Violating the hackathon rules or platform policies.

Organizer Rights

The organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule, rules, judging process, judging criteria, prizes, or other aspects of the hackathon if required. Any changes will be communicated through the official channels.
